As with anything else, there are definitely pros and const to that approach. Sure, you retain a bit of security if you keep your day job while trying to launch your business. But then you’re more likely to burn yourself out by putting in a lot of hours for both endeavors, and if your new business venture fails, you’ll never know if there was a fundamental flaw in your vision or if it failed because you simply didn’t devote enough time to it.
