Q: Why did you choose to work at Refactr?
A: I wanted to work with interesting technologies and to design better software through the use of agile methods. Refactr is a great place for both of those things. The laid back atmosphere makes it an awesome place to work.
Q: What is your earliest computer or internet memory?
A: One of my earliest memories was playing Gorillas and Nibbles written in QBasic. They shipped with all the source code so you could play around and edit the games.
Q: What software or websites could you not live without?
A: Gmail and more specifically gchat. It allows me to stay in touch with a lot of my friends and has replaced phone calls in a lot of ways.
Q: What is your favorite technology or gadget?
A: My HTPC/DVR built from an old Mac Mini. I don't always watch TV, but when I do, it's commercial free.
Q: If the whole world were listening, what would you say?
A: "Hello, World"
Q: Why did you choose your current profession?
A: There are always new technologies to play with and an endless amount of things to learn.
Q: What's the best part of being a developer?
A: Having the toolset to help solve problems for other people.
