Q: What did you catch onto (early adopt) before your friends?A:Mac OS X. Seriously! I got a friend to buy one, before I even owned one - that was the first iMac with a movable screen, OS 10.1. At a previous company, I was the first to use a MBP, not too many years later, everyone had a Mac. I remember getting the first iPhone, one of the first emails that I sent was to a friend, who responded with the following, "Sent from my iPhone, i don't care."
Q: How have agile methods changed how you get work done?A: I've always been a doer, but it makes me think about what I do on a daily basis. Does it matter? Because I'll have to say what I got done today at tomorrow's company scrum. The other aspect would be, breaking things down into smaller units of work/learning.
Q: What is your earliest computer or internet memory?A: Programming Basic on a Tandy computer I got at Christmas when I was around 8 or 9. It had no storage, just RAM, every boot was back to zero. Internet, what was that?
Q: Who is your favorite musician or band?A: There's so many great musicians and bands, Eddie Van Halen and Jack White are huge influences...
