Q: What's the best part of working at Refactr?
A: The friendly atmosphere. People are always asking about what everybody else is doing.
Q: Tell us something interesting about your coworkers.
A: At least three of the guys here brew their own beer. And they share.
Q: What's been your proudest achievement at the Refactr?
A: Being featured on Engadget; Getting the fingerprint door-scanner to finally read my finger; Keeping that one office plant alive, despite the best efforts of Ben to kill it.
Q: How have agile methods changed how you get work done?
A: They've allowed me to implement complex new features in a surprisingly short amount of time. They've also let me worry less about getting something absolutely perfect, and focus more on getting something to work.
Q: What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?
A:A professional surfer, but I'd need a lot of sunscreen.
Q: What is your favorite technology or gadget?
A: The arduino microcontroller. The ability to add sensing and connecting capabilities to almost anything without having to learn a lot of programming lets a wide variety of people build amazing things.
Q: If you could be a superhero, what would your name and superpowers be?
A: My name would be "The Tokyo Sandblaster", and I would be able to evade all legal prosecution.
